I think-- So it's not a good movie.

Like, let's just start with, as a movie, it's not really a good movie.

It is much closer to a concert film than-

... really a feature.

Everything is scenes that set up the performances, right?

Mm-hmm.

There's not a lot of acting in this movie.

So be it.

That's what it is, and that's what they've done.

There's like, we're in the studio.

We're working on the song.

There's a montage of everybody loves the song.

They go crazy for it.

It comes out.

We- the shows get bigger, and then we get the performance.

And then the performances are long.

Like, there are full song, you know, full performances.

And I'll say Michael's nephew, Jafaar, Jermaine's son, in the part, he does good Michael Jackson impersonation.

Yeah.

I mean, if that's the job, he does that fine.

And it's not very challenging in terms of, again, being an actor and doing a narrative here beyond that.

So it's really set up to get the crowd in the theater singing and dancing along.

That's the win or lose here.
