The Downgrade of Westminster Chapel: From Lloyd-Jones to Theological Drift

Westminster Chapel in London, England used to be pastored by Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones, a man that many regard as one of the best expositors of Scripture of the 20th century, one of the best of all time.

So how did his church go from having him as pastor to endorsing the likes of Bill Johnson and Bethel? Welcome to the program, ladies and gentlemen.

Indeed, Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones was one of the most capable expositors of scripture in the last several hundred years.

One of the best Many would say since the apostolic era closed and his church in London, England went from having him as pastor to now endorsing the likes of Bethel and Hillsong.

So how did it get to this sad state? Well, I'm going to talk in this program with a friend of mine named David Lovey.

David Lovey is a great guy.

He pastors a church.

and he is also the producer of the Cessationist film that some of you have seen.

And just a few weeks ago, as of this recording, David and I and Jim Osman were in England preaching at a conference there, and we went to Westminster Chapel, and we were just shocked by what we saw.
