This one's not so much for your events, but as a, as a swimmer, I'm curious, uh, what your thoughts are on this.
So this one's from waterpoloking99, wants to know about World Aquatics' recent change.
So they, they just approved lap counters and, uh, final lap bells for the 400 free.

Um, I mean, I've truthfully messed up a 200, so maybe not long course, but short course-
Like, why mess up if you have the option to count, have someone count for you? You can be thinking about your actual stroke, so.
No, but I haven't done many as well, so I, I was the one that was counting excessively 'cause I was waiting for it to be over.
So I was never miscounting-
... any freaking lap.
So I actually just recently joined a new masters group, and also this year I'm training for some ultra distance running races and, but I came from a sprint- I was like a 50 and 100 meter sprinter.
And so, like, in the pool, I'm doing some distance stuff now too, just 'cause that's really what I need as aerobic work.
And this group the other day did a 1650 straight at practice, and I was like, "Come on." You know? And they gave an option-
