The Swan: Behind the Mirror + Dancing with the Stars Week 3 Recap!

Uh, our guest-- This is amazing, you guys.

I, I was so thrilled to do this.

There's a new Hulu documentary called The Swan Behind the Mirror about the 2004 reality show on Fox called The Swan.

If you don't know anything about The Swan, God bless you.

If you do, uh, it was the most insane reality competition series.

And, uh, they did this amazing documentary that's on Hulu, just premiered today, and it is really worth your time.

I think this is ethical storytelling.

But we have the filmmaker, Erin Lee Carr, and two Swans from the first and second season, Christie Garza and Carrie Bravada, with us today.

There's a timestamp if you wanna skip directly to that.

I think this is such an amazing conversation.

I was so thrilled.

Now, Erin Lee Carr has been on my wish list to be able to talk to for a very long time.

She is a great filmmaker.

She is somebody that I really admire.

I mean, she does great in this.

I mean, really-- And, and her talking about this and, and things that she tried out in terms of putting this together blew me away.

But she also has done so many other amazing documentaries.

Like, I-- She's one of those people that if I see her name, I will watch it.

I will support it hands down.

I'm just so excited to see in particular where her career goes.

Um, so I, I, I was just thrilled.

I hope I get to talk to her at some other point, uh, in my career because I would just love to talk to her about-- I mean, Mommy Dead and Dearest, uh, the Tegan and Sara documentary, I think it was called Fanatic, that I just watched a couple of years ago.

The Britney Spears Netflix documentary.

I mean, uh, the, the Murdoch.

I mean, she was the executive producer of the, uh, the Murdoch series on Hulu last year with Patricia Arquette.
