It feels like something we should've done in the first five seasons of the show, but, uh, that's something that we're gonna do today, and I'm looking forward to it.

But newswise, Matt, uh, let's talk about the Shenmue comparisons that we're seeing in some of these released Crossroads trailers.

... it's gained a lot of heat because the, the character that's being teased looks an awful lot like a Mr. Lan Di.

Uh, do you know what, what's really fun with this is there's obviously the hardcore Shenmue community are g- are gonna make those references, right? It's fine.

But you go wider into gaming and actually there's a lot of people going, "That's Lan Di.

He moves like Lan Di." Uh, now there's obviously the derivative from the Virtua Fighter RPG and, and, and Tiger Swallow Style coming from Kun Zen, which is Lao style and, and everything else in between.

But seeing that was just like, okay, there's a lot more Shenmue love here than I think maybe we've realized.

And actually perhaps SEGA, or I, I don't know, what I think it's doing is giving Shenmue, um, exposure through the backdoor a little bit, which is great, and it can only be a good thing for, for the series.

And hopefully it gives SEGA a bit of a kick up the backside to go, "Do you know what? Maybe we are gonna do something with this." There is the other argument this might replace Shenmue long term in terms of the feel and what they're going for, although we would, and I would argue that Crossroads and s- the story mode has a very different vibe to a Shenmue game, even in a modern sense.

It's called Bakunawa Killer, and there's lots of theories going around just online as to who it is.
