Sunday's message from Seacoast Church in Ballina. Pastor Lach Jones - "The Language of Faith" - 9 August 2026

So if you've got your Bibles today, I'm going to continue preaching on this theme that Rick started last week around the life of faith.

And we're pressing into this theme and we're believing for fresh vision from the Lord and For every single one of us, not just for us as pastors of a church, but for every single one of us that we would have fresh vision of who the Lord is and who the Lord is calling us to be in this hour and in this generation.

There's a couple of reasons why I felt as a pastor and a leader even to press into this theme.

I don't know if it's because the days get shorter and the light gets shorter during the winter months, but I'm a naturalist.

And so as I just watch myself not being out there as much and myself getting whiter and pastier because I've got a wetsuit on in the surf, and I'm just slowly feeling like, man, I feel tired and I feel weary.

I don't know if it's because at the start of the year, we've got all these goals and these dreams that we're going to pursue.

Is there anyone who's with me or am I just preaching to myself this morning? So I felt like the Lord put this theme on my heart around the life of faith, that the Lord would inject fresh energy, fresh life, fresh vision into us as the people of God.

I feel there's someone here this morning and you have felt like the Lord has forgotten you.

Sometimes we live with the blinkers on, hey, and it's just a little bit like it's all about me.
