Bitches!

Here's a little pre-flight tip from your captain before we go time-traveling this episode.

The movie that we're talking about is called She's Dressed to Kill, and while there are several copies of it available on YouTube, almost all of them are incredibly dark.

The link down there in the show notes is the one copy you'll be able to see everything that you need to see in order to enjoy the movie that we're going to be talking about today.

It Came from the 70s Good evening passengers, this is your pilot Patrick Wall speaking.

It is my pleasure to welcome you aboard Polyester Airlines flight 1210 to the year 1979.

Polyester Airlines is of course the world's only time traveling airline where we break the laws of physics just so that you can watch Nostalgia TV.

Many important historical things happened on December 12, 1979, but perhaps the most significant is that it's the night that She's Dressed to Kill premiered as the NBC Monday Night Movie.

The weather in 1979 is expected to be as brisk and chilly as biting into a York peppermint patty.

However, please be advised that the Iran hostage crisis is in full swing, so be prepared to tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree.

Also, please be advised that in December 1979, the movie 10 was sweeping the box office, and absolutely everybody had Bo Derek fever.

Our flight attendants will be circulating around the cabin shortly to give everyone a complimentary corn roast so that you can blend in more smoothly.

He's a Polyester Airlines veteran who's accompanied me on flights to Walnut Grove, Crowhaven Farm, and even Onatevka.

But not yet, because I've just turned off the seatbelt sign, so feel free to kick off your candies and do the hustle around the cabin.

Everyone, kick back, relax, have a bellament, enjoy your flight, and enjoy the year 1979.
