It looked like it didn't do any work.

I don't remember the Waltons as much as I remember the other one, The Little House on the Prairie.

Right.

Well, I loved those books.

And I devoured the whole set.

I didn't even know they were books.

Maybe you could do a John Shuttleworth does the music for Little House on the Prairie musical.

Yeah.

And you'll also be stunned by this because Charlotte Stewart, wonderful veteran actress, still alive...

She played the school teacher all the way back in the 70s, Miss Beadle, on TV's original Little House on the Prairie.

Cute as a button, blonde hair, butter wouldn't melt in the mouth.

That was Miss Beadle.

Groupies and fans were kind of, you know, what flopped his mop.

They're an array of claims of loved children, but nothing ever came to pass.

Now, look, if you remember that 70s TV series, Little House on the Prairie, Michael Landon and all of that...

You're bound to remember Charlotte Stewart, who played the schoolteacher Miss Beadle, very prim and proper.

So those books were very important.

And I fantasized about the world of Walnut Grove, the Ingleses, the Wilder family, because they were model parents.

And I felt I wanted to know what it was like to be protected, to have a mother and a father, and not an evil father, and not an emotionally unstable mother.

and to feel wanted and cherished the way the children in these books obviously were.

I still wanna have her hair as my hair.

[laughs] And then the only other name in it that I knew was Merlin Olsen, uh, and I knew him from Little House on the Prairie.

Oh.

He played Jonathan Garvey.

And joining us will be award-winning producer and director and documentarian Dean Butler.

He played Almanzo Wilder on Little House on the Prairie, and he's the author of Prairie Man: My Little House Life and Beyond.

And joining us will be Carolyn Hennesy.

She's the Emmy Award-winning actress who has created characters that fans love to hate on both the big and small screen.
