Week 4: Texas Survives, Florida Surges, The Week's Biggest Stories

Big shock to start the weekend off, actually.

So we spent a lot of time the last couple of weeks talking about Ole Miss, LSU, Lane Kiffin, Pete Golding.

So Ole Miss riding high off the back of a big win over LSU in Oxford last weekend.

Travelled to Florida to take on John Sumrall's Pretty vast, quickly improving team at the Swamp.

It's a bit of an eye-opener, wasn't it?

Yeah, yeah, for sure.

I mean, Florida getting it done 52 to 28 overall miss.

I'll say this.

I think there was two things that were... at play here.

So one was the natural letdown after the lane game.

I think it's like, we always sort of knew that was going to be potentially in the cards because like, let's be frank.

I mean, the whole Ole Miss season, like you couldn't have told me before the Ole Miss game, or sorry, the LSU game, who they were playing after LSU.

Like, yeah.

I, I don't know.

It seemed that the

season was three weeks long, didn't

it? The season was

three

weeks long, right? So there's the natural letdown.

And then the second piece of this is we're going to have to probably talk a lot more about Florida.

I think those guys are a problem.

I don't know if I've seen a team this year play as physical as Florida.

I mean, Florida... on both sides of the ball, absolutely, like, jammed it to Ole Miss.

I mean, offensively, that Jaden Baugh guy, holy heck, he is a bowling ball.

He really is.
