Yeah, I wonder, and I want to ask you, because I wonder this about certain drag queens sometimes all the time.

And obviously, you look stunning today.

Such an experienced drag queen.

I do sometimes wonder, though, if stand-up, for instance, was 20 years ago or 15 years ago when I started doing it, much more open and available to gay men and inviting to gay men.

Yeah.

Do you think you would have continued? You still would have done drag.

And because there are some people that I've asked this question to, and it's so clear they they like drag, but they want it.

They used it because they wanted to be stand ups.

And this was the only way for them to exercise that muscle was through their their drag shows.

And then they sort of but ultimately they wish they could just have been like a gay guy stand up comedian.

Do you ever feel that way?

No, because I don't think that stand up was like it was never a thing that I thought I could do.

Not because I didn't think I was funny or any of that stuff.

But, you know, it was never it was never just I was an opera singer.

I was a composer.

I went to the School of Music for Composition to write operas.

It's what I wanted to do.

And so drag.

when I saw drag for the first time, I have always had this sort of upper extension to my voice, the soprano.

And I thought, oh, I can be a soprano finally.

You know what I mean? That's how my brain, I was like, yay, now I can sing as a woman and I'll get the roles I want.

I don't want to do countertenor roles.

I don't want to be a man singing high.
