Julia Roberts

Starstruck today with Craig.

We're looking at the life and times of Julia Roberts.

Julia Roberts today.

And Alice will be here too.

Alice Stolz with The Real Estate Look.

Hello to Nathan and, in fact, all our listeners in Wilberforce.

We are encouraged by your...

Nathan in Wilberforce demands we dive into the life and times of Julia Roberts, who is, of course, associated ever so strongly with this tune.

He doesn't like work for me.

And Julia Roberts never particularly seems like a sexual being on screen to me either.

I

actually saw this one pretty late in life.

Not even in Mary Riley?

I saw this one pretty late in life, and I was, you know, when this came out, when like Julia Roberts was at her peak stardom, I didn't quite get it as a young teenage boy.

But seeing it kind of now as an adult, I'm like, she is like, her smile is the prettiest smile I think I've ever seen.

Oh,

The box.

The box on Julia Roberts, and that's, like, her genuine reaction.

Like, that's just...

That's, like, not her as her character.

That's, like, Julia Roberts, like, surprised that he closed it on her hand, and she starts laughing out of surprise.

And they kept that take in, you know? And so...

I think that's like, it's like, again, improv doesn't have to be spoken also, you know, it can be acted and whatnot, but those choices are what makes, I think for a lot of really memorable and, and delicious moments in, on camera.

I only got to finally see Excalibur in recent years.

Great little role in Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts.

The...

So many fucking... voiceover type stuff and smaller roles like in search of dr. Seuss and in Robin Hood men in tights he's got a nice little role as King Richard which which is great you know as he's coming off of being Jean-Luc Picard he's a captain he's ending up in so many different places oh la story not la confidential uh yeah this this man's made so many movies i'm just like focusing on some of the stuff that's like the biggest biggest deal uh some of these i've seen but like my memory of them's not good he was in the original dune um and um you know and now i've gotten down to excalibur and uh and some of these the original tinker taylor soldier spy um Dude's a Shakespearean actor.

Truvy's is an all-female refuge where Truvy Jones, the owner, preaches the gospel that there's no such thing as natural beauty.

Harling also wrote the screenplay for the popular movie Steel Magnolias with an all-star cast featuring Sally Field, Julia Roberts, and Dolly Parton as Truvy.

Now, the Lyric Rose Theater is staging the show with an all-star Nevada County cast, including Molly Ringard as Shelby, a lover of all things pink.

My entire pageant ensemble was coordinated in shades of pink, soup to nuts.

Chris Stapleton.

He doesn't marry Julia Roberts.

Nobody ever comments about it.

And she's got a head like a horse.

great artist.

Julie Roberts was so great in that.

Nothing also like the end of the world potentially from AI, but that's a conversation for another time.

That's another time.

I'd be like, take it.

Bring in Julia Roberts.

Bring in Lindsay Lohan.

You can have it for 700.
