Motherwell recap, David Moyes and Benfica B Team??? | Let's catch up on Celtic...

So Celtic stay top of the table after their win on the return from the international break.

A 2-0 win means we maintain a two-point lead over Rangers at the top of the table.

Celtic looked much, much better on Sunday.

I think that we are I think for This season it's hard for Celtic fans to agree on things.

I think that universally as Celtic supporters we've all disagreed.

I think that we all agree that we were better on Sunday.

Albeit far from perfect and I don't think Celtic know the meaning of the word perfect this season.

But we certainly looked better.

We moved the ball better.

We attacked the game better.

We just We looked like a functioning football team.

In particular, the second half I thought we looked really, really good.

So, you know, positive signs.

Not to sound like a certain Jason Cundy, but encouraging signs.

And I feel like it's what we needed.

It's really what we needed just to bring that kind of reassurance back to the supporters.

And look, Thursday we'll get on to that in a few moments.

But obviously that could be damaging because it's Benfica.

Usually those things Usually away in Europe doesn't go for Celtic.

But if you're looking at it a game-by-game basis, Sunday was 2-0 and it was 2-0 going on, you know, 10.

Celtic could have scored and should have scored a lot, lot more.

Some good saves from the Motherwell goalkeeper.

Some chances where it was just maybe a lack of understanding at certain moments.

But just generally speaking, we just looked so much more fluid as a team.
