Benjamin Nygren

Yeah.

I think he kind of played the Nygren position the other night behind the big man.

And I thought that was night and day the difference when Nygren came on compared to Sorensen playing.

I thought Nygren probably needed more chances in the short space of time that he was on than Sorensen did.

So I think he was probably looked at as your replacement for Engles, and it's early days, the boys obviously getting used to the league, getting used to the players going about them, but from what I've seen so far, he's not been brilliant and he's not been terrible, You see other players who have come in in the short space of time as well, like Shim, and you can tell right away in the short space of time he's had, he looks as if he's only been a player.

So, it's difficult.

But Swanson might be one of the ones that has to take time, but...

If you have to go from it to now, I would have to say I don't think he starts in the best Celtic team going forward.

It's like, it's not a good indicator that like, if you were to do that with him, does that happen in other positions as well? Because there's no competition for places.

So, you know, does that happen in the midfield, for example? Does Nygren get bombed out for Sorensen? And you're like, well, look what Nygren's done for us.

I don't know.

I just think it's messing around with your keeper going into these big games.

Now, Martin O'Neill spoke to us in the written sit down yesterday and spoke about Shimomuka in the same breath as some players such as Joel Vandenberg and Oliver Sorensen, who are just continuing to bed in and build up behind the scenes.

But I would like to see more of these new players coming through, and the best chance of seeing them tonight is if Celtic have built up, built up a lead, um, against their Scottish Premiership opponents.

I think it will be McGregor that starts in the number six, um, alongside, uh, alongside Mika Biel and, and Benjamin Nygren because the three of them have been contrib- contributing of late.

In the midfield, I'm in agreement.

I think we'll see kind of a Callum McGregor, obviously Chamberlain and Benjamin Nygren.

Front line, mate, I do think this is the time that we will see Shim given the nod up front.

I think he will move it about a wee bit just to kind of rest players.

Is it Hassan? Is it Duran? Is it someone else? Is it Tanecki? I don't think Tanecki helps off the ball out of possession much at all.

And so how do you line up when, let's say, Hassan, Hu, and Tunetke are not great in those phases of the game with what we know with Nygren has his limitations, though he works very hard.

It's basically just Duran.

So that's my concern, is that how much of our game model and as we go against better teams.

Wouldn't have dropped him.

And if I was, it would be for McGregor or Nygren.
