Caitlin BledsoeGuestHave we got a story to tell all of you? Welcome back to the Ruthless Variety Program.
I am Josh Holmes, along with comfortably smug Michael Duncan and John Ashbrook, left to right across your radio dial.
You recall several months ago, we had Senator Dan Sullivan of Alaska, who's locked into a heated Senate race that may very well determine the majority in the United States Senate on the program.
And one of the things that he said, brought up and talked about in great detail is shenanigans that were going on in Alaska.
And at that point, they were alleged, although he had an incredible amount of information about what was happening from Democrats trying to put on a douche Sullivan.
On to about because they got that weird rank choice voting system up in Alaska where you run a primary where it's jungle, meaning Republicans and Democrats, everybody runs in it.
and then the top four are separated out from the rest of the field, and they are on a general election ballot.
So regardless if they're Republican or Democrat or whatever party, the top four vote-getters in that primary then go to this sort of runoff-type thing, and that crowns the winner of this whole situation.
Well, he alleged at the time, that Democrats went out of their way to try to recruit someone with the exact same name as him to confuse voters and potentially pull two, three percent off of his vote total to make this a competitive race.
And many different venues, Peltola campaign, the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee, Chuck Schumer, Senate Majority PAC, all of them on record.
A guy with the same name as the Republican wants to run for – it's an absolute coincidence.
