In this episode, we explore the making of the film 'Pressure' and discuss the performances of Andrew Scott and Damien Lewis, the historical accuracy of the story, and the impact of weather prediction…
Yeah.
I mean, I thought it was okay, but I mean, I didn't fall in love with the movie.
I think that the subject matter actually for a war movie, it's kind of boring.
I mean, well, yeah, it's about weather.
I mean, you basically said it.
Well, yeah, but with an interesting slant.
Two conflicting weathermen, basically.
Meteorologists or whatever the hell they were.
Meteorologists.
Yeah, I
do think that the guy who was the lead, I would say, and it's funny, I wasn't familiar with them.
I went on to IMDB to see who he was, and he was in... uh was he inspector he was in one of the james bond movies like where he kind of played like uh the new boss that was taking m's job or m my six or whatever and uh you know he was a bit of a dick in that movie uh of course because he was supposed to be kind of like a like a villain um but I thought he was really good in this.
I'm surprised that he hasn't done more.
He really shined for me, and I think that helped.
I think I kind of would have wanted to turn it off because no one else really stood out for me.
Wow, okay.
I didn't understand that because I've seen a lot of pictures of him, and I've never seen him that heavy, and that just kind of threw me off.
I mean...
That doesn't mean you have to put him in everything.
They could have gotten someone else.
I mean, I guess by him being in it, it probably sold more tickets or had people more interested in it.
Because, yeah, they would have had no one.
Yeah.
