Ty WinterGuestDave BancroftGuestSomebody asked really quick too on Dave Bancroft, Veteran Windows and Doors, that there are places around...
This person's actually, uh, messaging in from Tennessee, said there's salesmen there actually telling people that if they do the right windows and doors, they would rarely ever use air conditioning or heat, and is there any truth to that? And frankly, uh, I highly doubt that.
Uh, only if the old windows and doors are so bad that, you know, they're just letting so much, you know, moisture, air, wind, et cetera, into the home.
W- yeah, maybe I could see that happening then, but otherwise n- no. Um, windows and doors are gonna do their job.
You know, your home is still going to get, you know, cold in cold weather, needs to be heated, gonna get hot in hot weather, and that's why you cool it, and that has to do just with the outside temperature.
There's only so much you can do with the inside, quote-unquote, box that you have insulation-wise and so on.
And yes, there's lots of things you can do to improve that and make that temperature fluctuation less, and that's where Dave Bancroft comes in, but, but at the end of the day, you know, can you operate, you know, put new windows and doors in and operate your home without any, you know, any heat or AC? No.
If somebody's saying that, um, I would say that they're, you know, yeah, they're full of BS.
No, it's not first Indigenous Day or whatever a lot of other folks wanna call it, or Happy Indigenous Day, or I don't, I don't know.
And, you know, i- i- it is what it is, and you can not like our past, and some people don't.
No, he didn't come all the way here, and as Dave was saying from Veterans, somebody else may have claimed to be here before that.
I was, you know, taught in school, and I think most people were, that, you know, Columbus was the guy that found it.
