But to be at the races and doing the commentary is exactly where you're supposed to be.
Um, so I was at Bendigo for the 5K Frenzy, and had a commentary gig with Andy Buchanan.
So it was super nice doing it with Andy, because he's obviously, like, the king of Bendigo.
Uh, and also he knew a lot of the athletes, so he had a, a few more stories to tell, and a few beefs between athletes and that kind of stuff.
We had to commentate 10 races, and they kind of spanned between, you know, I think the, the first races were, like, 40 minutes, and then the later races were, like, 14, 15 minutes.
So it got a little bit easier as they went on, because also we knew more about the athletes and their form and that kind of thing.
And so we were sitting in a tent near the finish line, and you couldn't really see the lap counters, and we couldn't also see the actual race time, like the, the clock, which was quite challenging, uh, [laughs] to know what was going on-
Like, we were sitting there and eating lollies and drinking Coke [laughs] to kind of sustain us.
And then at one point, Andy did a call-out for if anyone wanted to drop off a pizza, that would be great, and then a pizza appeared.
