They've kind of tacked on this intro to the season that is Carole doing a very Carrie Bradshaw-esque narration about, you know, everybody living and learning and, you know, whatever in New York City, sitting on the bed with her laptop open, and it's like, [laughs] okay.

Um, you know, they're, they're going for something, and I, I appreciate the effort.

But the rest of the episode, it's...

When you said that, I was, like, picturing Carrie Bradshaw saying that in, like, an intro to a Sex and the City episode.

And then I was like, wait, is that what that came from all along? And I just had no idea.

But the thing is, is like people would argue that there's no real storyline in the book that she wrote so that that was filled in with like Darren Star and everything.

But what they're not getting, though, is that the Carrie Bradshaw character, the thing that lines up with all the seasons, 30 years, is her.

And that was clearly defined in her book.

And she should be worth $100 million.

Well, we didn't really even see Carol at all, but it didn't start with her, which was amazing.

and then yeah some just shows that i like i'd kind of take the characters that made and then um sort of make up my own stories or introduce new characters i think that's how it sparked my creativity um and then yeah i just sort of kind of always i never really took it seriously but i decided i wanted to write for a living when i was about 14 15 and again this is another ridiculous helen story but basically i used to watch sex in the city saw that Carrie Bradshaw made enough to be buying designer shoes and living in a New York apartment, writing one column a week and was like, well, I want to do that.
