Justin Mason and Jason Collette discuss this week's FAAB! Source
Jason ColletteHostJustin MasonHostWe have, uh, you know, some pretty interesting guys coming up, uh, that you may wanna bid, uh, God, maybe even the rest of your money.

So I, I brought this up mainly because it puts Valdez into a two start week, uh, with Tampa Bay, and I forget the other, uh, uh, who ha- who else that Detroit's playing.

This was like, this should've been a two start week for him, it just pushes back a week.

But the, with Sears, the other thing is what they're gonna do with some of the, uh, maybe he does stay up, because prior to I was reading a note, like MLB Pipeline had Sears as the 14th, uh, has him as the 14th best prospect in the Detroit organization.

Was a bit higher before the acquisitions of the prospects they got from the Dodgers and whatnot, but I just was looking at what they potentially do, uh, with workload stuff.

Because there was, the note that I saw was Keibert Montero's already up above his workload, uh, where they, uh, where he was last year.

So there's some, uh, thought that perhaps, uh, Sears is gonna stick around, uh, and, and help offset some of that inning.

But today it looks like it's gonna be a bullpen day with Sears taking the, the, the early part of it.

So, uh, maybe in an AL situation I could see, uh, adding him, but for mixed leagues I don't know what the role's gonna be right now, and if he's gonna work enough, uh, to matter.

Maybe he'll be like Andrew Alvarez when he first came up, where he was working [laughs] those three to four innings type of situation, and looking good, but not qualifying for wins until recently.

So, um, just something to watch, but I thought it was noteworthy for two reasons, AL o- only leagues, and that Valdez is now a two start guy next week.
So if you can stream him in today you may wanna try that, 'cause uh, he could be in line for win.
