(Thursday) Morning Run: Zacharia Still Explaining, Pope Leo’s Condition, Gas Price Record, 2nd Thoughts on Public Execution, People’s Court Arrest, Clancy Juror’s 1st Sit-Down, Diddy’s Prison Fight, Harry and Meghan Step Out, Oscar Winner Pregnant at 52, & MORE!

Well, we'll get [laughs] into that here in a moment, but yes, the Run this morning's gonna take us to Rome, it's gonna take us by the gas pump.

We're gonna head to DC, we're gonna head out to the tarmac in Arizona, Fort Dix, New Jersey, make a stop in LA, as well as the UK.

But let's start, Ro, with the hospital in Rome, see how the first Am- the American pope is doing.

That's right.

So the Vatican has released Pope Leo's first message since his surgery to remove that cancerous mass from his lung.

The Pope said, "As you know, I have been unable to be among you during these days.

I thank you warmly for your prayers and for the work you have done together.

Your sharing of experiences and attentive listening are indeed a gift to the whole church."

Gee, even that's a sweet little message-

Isn't it?

... from the [laughs] Pope.

But yes, we're getting these updates.

Had to think back to Francis.

You remember every morning, get an update that said, "He's awake, and he had a pancake," and-

Literally-

...

it was little stuff [laughs]

... literally that's what we got today.

It was like, "He slept well and had breakfast."

That was it.

But they gave him- us updates every day about Francis, and they're doing this now with Pope.

But yes, they just said he slept well for the second night, said he's back on his regular diet, said he's up and walking, celebrated mass with his secretaries in the 10th floor of the hospital.

Not clear, though, just [sighs] the condition, Robes, of where they caught this cancer and what stage, what's next.

We don't know.

Yes.
