Well, that's a religiously loaded question.

From a religious standpoint, I think it's definitely not going.

It's going to get worse before it gets better, right? That's what the apocalyptic reading of the Bible even for mainstream Christians says.

So I have great hope in the final outcome, but I do think that we are a declining republic.

Yeah, don't let anybody tell you we're a democracy.

I hate it when people say we have to do this in our democracy.

In fact, I think James Madison even gave some quotes about how we are a republic and how a democracy would be dangerous.

And to illustrate this, and we're going to get into your book, but to illustrate this, a democracy means the majority rules.

Well, if the majority rules to take away your property, let's say 51 to 50 in the Senate...

You're screwed.

That's why we have two-thirds majority in the Senate and in the House.
