Last week, Brian and I went pretty hard in the paint on our thoughts on a lot of cultural things going on.

And this time we're going to bring it back to finance, but not really in the typical way we talk about.

We are going to be talking about credit cards, credit card rewards, credit report, credit score, and optimizing this tool.

We are big on the idea of Having tools in your toolkit that you understand and know how to use and using them in the right order, using them at the right time, and also understanding when not to use them.

It is one of the best tools that you have in your toolkit, but there are times where you're going to choose not to use it.

And so in the same way, if you understand credit cards, how to use them, how to optimize them, they are extremely powerful.

And especially, I'll say it over and over, especially for anyone listening active duty military, you are leaving thousands and thousands of dollars on the table if you don't one have the discipline to use them correctly.

And I will walk through the mechanics of what exactly the different balances are and how to ensure that you never pay interest on them.

Um, and, and again, so assuming you have the financial literacy and the understanding and the discipline to not have this tool turned against you, uh, if you understand and implement these strategies, you can gain thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars in value.

Um, And if you're not in the military, if you're not active duty, if you are separated, which a lot of things, a lot of the benefits carry over once you're separated, retired or veteran status.
