In Millington, Tennessee, which is quite a conservative part of Tennessee, they just passed a data center moratorium on October 12th.

There was no reason for the Memphis City Council to vote anything but yes.

So I went on with that.

So then, you know, 74, I graduate high school, go in the Army, and then I go into the Navy in 79 and go through all the avionics schooling out there in Millington, Tennessee back then.

I guess it's been Pensacola since the 90s.

So I get out of Millington, and they send me to the F-14, VF-142 Ghost Riders.

But they're out in the I.O., and so by the time...

U.S. Veterans Affairs executives, veterans, and other

local officials recently celebrated the new $10 million, 37,000 square foot clinic in Millington.

The clinic, located at 4963 West Union Road, has seen more than 3,500 veterans since opening June 1st.

The clinic features a patient-aligned care team layout, including 50 exam rooms.

Like I said, I've known this guy since I guess the day I was born.

And, uh, he's my, my uncle, my only uncle fishes from, uh, fish, the Tennessee river or the Mississippi river cried a bit and all the lakes around, uh, Millington, Tennessee and, and Shelby forest.

And, uh, Bo, I really wanted to get this out there because that's in my mind a lot.

That whole series of events is in my mind a lot.

But I'm advocating alongside other members of our community for a data center moratorium in Memphis and also in Shelby County.

And the House of Representatives, I represent a town called Millington, and just yesterday they passed a data center moratorium.

But I believe local governments have a responsibility to protect the air, to protect the water of our constituents and our communities that are being inundated by hyperscale data centers that are seeking to pollute and harm our communities without any input given by the people who live there.

And a lot of the people who live in our rural towns and communities that I'm visiting and talking with, they don't want these hyperscale data centers either.
