Ep 94: Your Pain Has a Purpose w/ Nimesh Radia — Soul Contracts, Grief & the Akashic Records

What if everything you've been through was chosen by your soul, and your pain has been preparing you for exactly this moment? Kelsey sits down with Nimesh Radia — Akashic Records reader, spiritual mentor, and host of the Spiritual Journey podcast — for a conversation that opens with a grounding and holds you in the energy of love throughout. Nimesh's story begins in Uganda, where at three years old his family was expelled and became refugees in the UK. It moves through a corporate career, a friend's dark magic that brought it all crashing down, a fire ceremony in India, and the mentor who changed everything — Sidra Jaffrey — who passed away in a fire at 38 and became his most powerful spiritual guide. What Nimesh brings to this conversation is a quality that is genuinely rare: the ability to hold the biggest, most painful topics in life with complete warmth. He talks about grief as one of the most powerful expanders available to us, the void we are all collectively sitting in right now between the old world and the new, and why your soul has been waiting lifetimes for exactly this phase. He also shares three simple practices he gives every single person he works with — and one of them you can start in the next ten minutes. Here you'll learn: - The full story of Nimesh's journey from Uganda refugee to corporate director to Akashic Records reader — including the dark magic, the fire ceremony, and the soul contract that started it all - How his mentor Sidra passed from this realm and became an even more present spiritual guide, pushing him harder from the other side than she ever did as a human - Why grief is one of the most powerful spiritual expanders we have — and how to change the question from "why is this happening to me?" to "how is this serving me?" - What the Akashic Records actually are, how Nimesh accesses them, and what the most common themes are in the readings he is doing right now - Why we are all collectively in a void between an old life that no longer fits and a new one that hasn't fully formed yet — and what the soul already knows about this phase - The three simple practices Nimesh recommends to everyone: ten minutes of silence, mirror work, and intentional journaling that creates what he calls "magic moments" - Why your purpose doesn't need to be one thing — and what Nimesh uses as his own guiding purpose every single day - How to work with your ego rather than fight it, including giving it a funny name and taking it along for the ride You are not broken. You are not behind. You are a soul who chose a challenging existence because your soul is powerful enough to handle it — and because what you are releasing and becoming is preparing you for something that requires exactly this version of you.
