Kenneth Hagan + - Learning how to Speak your healing

We are going to look at four passages of Scripture concerning healing, but I want us to do more than hurry through four references.

I want us to understand what we are reading, because understanding gives you something to bring into your prayer.

Somebody says, well, I believe God can heal.

I have believed that for years, but how do I come to Him about this condition I am facing? That is an honest question.

And you need room to ask an honest question.

You may have prayed before.

You may have had people pray with you.

Perhaps you have opened your Bible and wondered, how does this promise relate to me here in my home with this need? Well, let us begin with the invitation Jesus gave.

He said, Notice that word, come.

That is an invitation.

A burdened person can come.

A weary person can come.

You do not have to wait until you have settled every question before you approach him.

Imagine a woman sitting at her kitchen table early in the morning.

There is a cup beside her, a Bible open before her, and an appointment written on the calendar.

She reads a verse, then looks toward that calendar.

Finally, she says, Lord, I know what this says, but I am frightened.

Now, that is an imagined scene, but perhaps you understand her.

What could she do next? She could bring that very fear into her prayer.

Father, this is where I need help.

Help me understand your word.

Help me trust you today.

The scripture says, casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.

He careth for you.

Let that have a little room in your thinking.
