It was like a year before Kenneth Hagin died.

And, uh, he was, he was, he was about to come and preach, and there was this guy singing.

But even though Kenneth Hagin is not here today, you get it.

The treasures of the knowledge and the wisdom that he had is in a few people who are still carrying on the ministry.

He said, "There was not a day that went past that this man did not run my name through the mud.

He took my books on air and he ripped them," he said, "constantly." He said, "My name ended up on the front page of the paper." And he said, "Till date, I do not know what they put on the front page of the newspaper because the Lord told me the same thing that he told Kenneth Hagin, and I'm telling you the same thing.

You get to a level where Jesus commands you, 'Don't answer your critics.'" [audience applauding] Okay? Amen.

And so, uh, what's very interesting is that seven years later, Oyedepo was on the airplane, and that man that ran his name through the newspaper was on the airplane also.

All right? I got baptized in the Holy Spirit.

And I read a little book by Kenneth Hagin called Why Tongues?

Right? 'Cause I already believed the Bible was the Word of God.

So I, I take this book by Kenneth Hagin, and I cross-reference the Bible.

And I hid in a bathroom, and I saw that I believe spirit baptism is for today.

How long, Lord? Yes, there will be an attempt.

You see, there are two functions or two ways to the anointing, which we have said before, and then if you have read The Spirit Upon and Spirit Within by Kenneth Hagin you will understand.

John 2:27, there is the anointing that comes upon you for powerful service.

The Charismatic Renewal of 1968 carried tongues and manifestations into Protestant denominations and Roman Catholicism.

Word of Faith teachers such as Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland turned faith into a force and giving into a formula for prosperity.

Toronto and Brownsville normalized shaking, screaming, falling, and uncontrolled behavior as evidence of revival, and the New Apostolic Reformation combined restored apostles, private revelation, territorial spirits, deliverance, seven-mountain dominionism, and Christian nationalism into a global religious network.

Through every stage, the same deadly exchange was taking place.

But do I have an ax to grind against people who teach provably false doctrine? I absolutely do.

And so none of what we're going to be talking about today will be personal.

I don't have anything against Kenneth Hagin as a person, Kenneth Copeland, Oral Roberts as human beings.

But as far as what they taught, what they teach, and the influence that they have wielded upon the body of Christ and the confusion that they have caused, well, I'm absolutely looking to clear some of that up.

by a host of false teachers like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and a bunch of others of that ilk who have spewed that same nonsense that Eliphaz and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar have spewed to Job.

That has been around, and it is patently false.

And the case in point is Job himself.
