negotiations to cast Dave Bautista in the live action God of War series has reportedly concluded with the deal now being officially done.

Shall we come into this because I think let's finish the story and then we can talk about it because actually I think I've got a few things I need to say about that too.

So earlier this month it was reported that this is solely for those who may not have heard the story before.

So Deadline reported that the former WWE wrestler turned Hollywood star was having talks with Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures to replace the injured Ryan Hurst and play the lead role of Kratos.

According to Variety, those talks have now ended and the Guardians of the Galaxy, Blade Runner 2049 and Spectre Star will now indeed step into the role of Kratos.

Filming for the show originally started in February with Ryan Hurst, who was in Sons of Anarchy, who played Thor in the most recent God of War Ragnarok games, is cast as Kratos.

However, in June, he suffered an injury on set which led to him tearing his biceps and requiring surgery, which is horrific.

So, after realising that recovering to full strength in a bicep tear can take up to a year, production studios took the unfortunate decision to look for another role, another actor to play Kratos.

Four episodes of the series had reportedly already been shot before Hurst was injured.

those will now have to be reshot, or at least the scenes featuring Kratos with Batista in them instead.

Last week, Hearst posted an image of himself dressed as Kratos in an Instagram story, offering fans a better look at the character than the single promotional image released.

And, oh boy, is there a way of doing this? Bear with me, I'm going to share my screen, because I think we need to see, I think you need to see this, is there? so
