M
12:34Mekel KasanovaHOST
Did that sit on you at all in the booth? Or did you treat it like any other role? Or did it, like, there's so much pride on top of the anxiety.
M
12:45Mekel KasanovaHOST
But pride came with it as well.
41 MINS LATER
M
53:57Mekel KasanovaHOST

In other games, and this is especially true of a lot of games of the SNK, like Shock Troopers and Metal Slug, if you're constantly switching between two different fields, you'll kind of walk your bullets in between them a little bit.
M
30:09Mark BigneyHOST
So there are no true dead zones.
M
30:11Mark BigneyHOST
My least favorite aspect of the gameplay element of Metal Warriors is that there are large dead zones.
Street Fighter (and Terranigma!)
B
13:20Bonus LizardHOST

B
13:27Bonus LizardHOST
There's another, you know, then important to note that he would then leave Capcom and go to SNK.
B
13:32Bonus LizardHOST
where he would then do Fatal Fury and really kicking off SNK's role in the fighting game genre.
B
13:42Bonus LizardHOST
And, you know, that eventually kind of coming to a climax with the King of Fighters series, ultimately.
B
13:49Bonus LizardHOST
But, you know, that's a story for another day.
26 MINS LATER
B
40:20Bonus LizardHOST
But...
B
40:21Bonus LizardHOST
Gen's another character who would come back.
B
40:24Bonus LizardHOST
Then it goes to England, where you fight Eagle, who doesn't come back until Capcom vs. SNK 2, but also notably Birdie, who shows up in Street Fighter Alpha, though it turns out in his fighting street appearance, he's real, real sick.

X
78:55Xander ScullionHOST
Yeah, yeah, because, I mean, like, I think one of my friends, he's on YouTube, Jim, he said it best when he was just like, yeah, it sucks to get delayed, but on the plus side, you can play any SNK game with anything that has, like, electric current, you know? Like, you can play SNK games anywhere, you know? You can play it on your phone, you can play it on your laptop, but I know, like, the Neo Geo console, this AES Plus, like, the whole premises of it was, a re-release console, and I really wish it did really good, because if it did really good, guess what? Sega, Nintendo, all these other companies would follow suit, and I would love to see re-releases of old consoles.
