Radio Free Cybertron 994 – Here’s Your Gun Megatron

One thing that popped up this past weekend is, I follow this now every single time one posts.

The LCG auction, it's like the high-end toy auction site.

Their spring auction ended, and there were some expensive items.

The most expensive Transformer, AFA 85, 1984 Shockwave, $27,570.

Now, that's a lot less than that Megatron that sold for what, like $100,000 or that Optimus Prime that sold for, you know, nearly the same.

But that's a ton of money.

84 Optimus Prime, the Pepsi sticker, Pepsi version, AFA 90, which is the highest.

There's none graded higher, which means there are probably more 90s out there.

That's sold for $23,342.

84 Shock, pardon me, 84 Soundwave, the rub sign version, not pre-rub.

14,147.

84 Ironhide, AFA 85, 7,162.

Ravage Rumble, pre-rub, AFA 85, $6,666.

And AFA 75 Megatron, $5,381.

That's a lot.

But there were a couple toys that actually sold for more.

An AFA 90 1983 He-Man, which is apparently the highest graded specimen, $80,736.

Yeah.

And an AFA 85 1984 Snake Mountain, first

release.

Again, no higher grade exists, $78,659.

That's a nice down payment on a house nowadays.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah, that costs more than my first house.
