Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note. On this Episode, the boys answer the question, "How do you fire an employee"…
Welcome to Question with Etor.
Let's do a hypothetical.
Dave, can I pose a somewhat abstract, purely hypothetical question? I guess I want to apologize for
asking a hypothetical question.
Well,
that's a hypothetical question.
You know, little known fact about us is that we are in great positions of power.
But the point is, we bosses.
We boy bosses.
For sure.
Y'all would consider yourself boy bosses.
We boss babies, you know.
But as the bosses of y'all's very well-established companies, I am sure y'all have many employees.
And a big part of being a boss is having to fire somebody.
Maybe they didn't do the job correctly.
Maybe they were late on a project.
They missed a deadline.
And you had to pull the plug on them.
I just want to know.
How do y'all walk the line of firing somebody and maybe letting them down easy? You know, because this is their livelihood.
They have to feed their families.
They have to provide for themselves.
How do y'all fire somebody?
