When they were discussing the Kirk's father situation with the bad moral here, brilliantly played by Joe Morton, did anyone else just visually think of Kirk's father as... as Chris Hemsworth's Thor every time I know we're talking the Kelvin timeline it's different here but Chris Hemsworth as Thor played his father in the 2009 movie so every time there was like talk about between our bad role and what his father did and all that kind of stuff I just kept seeing certain emotional moments I've seen through the MCU timeline with Kirk Hemsworth as Thor but as Kirk's father am I the only one that thought this

Now, Kevin, just to clarify, are you talking about the top of his game holding the hammer, Thor, or are you talking about beer belly Thor who's sitting in the lounge chair doing nothing but drinking beer and watching cable?

Because I could see Kirk's father just like alternate Kirk's father as Fat Thor, just kind of like guzzling some iron brew there in Scotland.
