It's like in Avengers where they don't reintroduce Thor, they don't reintroduce Captain America.

You just know who these characters are.

And like, how many more [laughs] times am I gonna run into this type of situation in all of these OVAs that I'm watching? But-

Anyway, it's a beautiful double-page spread.

Somewhere, somewhere, Captain America is, like, he's, like, drinking tea with, like, Thor and Iron Man.

And he's like, and then I told him, let the new warriors handle it.

And they're like, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Yeah.

In this book, they win, Thor dies.

Oh.

Loki, and it was just like a, it was a prank.

Just hold on, wait.

He finds a new friend, Brian the Gecko, a much more engaging companion than the sycophants back home.

A Valkyrie, hell-bent on carrying out her oath to Thor, barges into his trailer home with her brother's final words from beyond, a plea to find a certain Dr. Jane Foster and pass on Mjolnir to its rightful heir.

Is this, like, connected to actual Marvel? No.

We knew Tony Stark and Steve Rogers were separated after Civil War.

We knew Thor had just lost Asgard.

We knew Doctor Strange held the Time Stone.

We understood the Infinity Stones because Marvel had kept placing them throughout the universe for years.

I want the team up, so of course I do.

One of the greatest pleasures of every Avengers movie is watching relationships form in real time.

Thor meeting the Guardians, Tony meeting Doctor Strange, Steve Rogers saying, I am Steve Rogers to Groot in the middle of a war.

These moments work because they're funny and exciting.

And the Avengers lineup here is, um, Goliath, you know, Hank Pym, Wasp, Janet Van Dyne, Black Panther, T'Challa, Hawkeye, Clint Barton.

We mentioned there's, like, cameos of, uh, Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff, and the three, like, kind of ... three of the founding Avengers, Thor, you know, Steve Rogers, Captain America, who appeared in issue four, so he wasn't technically a founding member-

Right

... and, uh, Iron Man, Tony Stark.

In an epilogue, a kid finds Ultron's head in a vacant lot, kicks it around, and leaves it like a broken piece of junk.

Avengers 58: Even an Android Can Cry.

T'Challa is summoned to the Avengers mansion and is greeted by the entire team, including Thor, Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers.

The Vision announces his wish to join the Avengers, and the founding heroes attack him to test his powers.

Kind of sounds like it.

But, like, the Vikings is very fun with Thor being the, you know, character there.

The Patriots

is Captain America, which is fun.

yeah like i've just never i never noticed these cards before me neither now i have i'm like i'm honing in i think they're awesome okay so i bought the shack is to give away on thursday the banks is for me and then the three marvel cards so there's six superheroes in the 66 donra set it's a 66 card set which is maybe why they did it in 1966 or vice versa there's six characters each have 11 cards I already had a Spider-Man and an Iron Man, and now I went and I bought a Hulk, a Thor, and a Daredevil.

And who's the last one again, David, that I'm not mentioning there? Captain America.

Who? Captain America.

So he looks drunk in this.

My favorite, though, is the Daredevil flying out the window.

I love the romantic image of the Thor with what might be his woman.
