Just had our top of the hour Fox News break, so we have still a segment or two left on Coach's Corner before we get to Midwest Country Music Originals here on this Saturday morning.
Martin, we're going to talk a little prep sports, maybe a couple of other little morsels here, and then hopefully get in either Will Hanisch or Billy Hanisch to close out the show on it.
We have Lorelei Hartman of Red Wing individually at the Rochester Athletic Club on Monday trying to keep her season going and trying to get to state.
Lake City has made it to state as a team for girls, and they could have a singles player and a doubles team make it on that side of it.
Once you get going, you know, you think it's, oh, it's going to – It's going to be kind of a long deal, but, man, in the fall it goes by pretty quick, and before you know it, we'll be doing winter stuff.
I was out at a cross-country practice getting an interview and just talking to them about how their season's been going and what they're looking forward to, and, of course, they're experiencing what Red Wing is experiencing in all sports, and that's playing in the HVL or competing in the HVL and how that'll kind of change course-wise what they're experiencing up against as far as competition and then later on but just recognizing that these last couple weeks are going to go pretty quick once you get through that one big conference meet then you've got sections to prepare for And as far as the other sports, we've already owed it to our soccer teams in the area and volleyball section.
And, you know, it's a little different in football because the MEA Wednesday is usually the final game of the regular season, but it started late this year, so we have a game Tuesday, and the playoffs start the following Tuesday.
Let's talk a little playoff football here because after the regular season ends on Tuesday, we'll see who is going where.
