All right, so let's start with Operation Economic Outcast.

Okay? Now, the name itself is very interesting.

Besson compared it to D-Day, the Allied invasion of Normandy in World War II.

That's a bold comparison.

D-Day was the beginning of the end of Nazi Germany.

It was decisive.

It was overwhelming.

It worked.

But here is the dissonance, guys.

Here is what doesn't add up.

D-Day happened after four years of war, and it happened because the Allies were winning on every front.

They had momentum, they had resources, they had a coherent plan, and they launched D-Day from a position of strength, okay? Now look at what's happening with America right now.

The USS Abraham Lincoln has been deployed in the Middle East for nearly nine months.

Nine months.

And 12 U.S.

Senators, 12 members of the Senate Armed Services Committee, just wrote a letter demanding a congressional hearing into, quote, the poor planning and mismanagement of extended deployments and the resulting, quote, dwindling supplies and deteriorating conditions onboard American ships.

Dwindling supplies on a U.S. aircraft carrier after nine months, okay? Senator Chris Murphy, who sits on the Foreign Relations Committee and has access to classified briefings, wrote on Twitter, Iran is winning the war.

Trump is losing.

Americans are paying a huge, huge cost.

He called Operation Economic Outcast desperate window dressing.

He said, and I want you to really hear this, we've already sanctioned basically everything in Iran we can.

There's little left.

Now, Murphy is a Democrat, so you might say he's just playing politics, right? Okay, let me give you a more interesting data point.

The IRGC, Iran's own Revolutionary Guard, their spokesperson said this publicly.

If you were victorious in the military arena, you wouldn't have to start an economic war.
