If you're someone that didn't necessarily train with Pat, didn't know Pat, not kind of in the greater circle of friends, you know, is this a valuable experience for them? Is this something that someone should try to attend if they kind of aren't in the circle of, you know, Pat's friends or influence or anything like that? And what's going forward and what should they expect or is this not something for them?

So there were some, there were some speeches that were given during the weekend by Chappie and by Doc Spears that basically tried to identify what was Friends of Pat trying to accomplish? So this first one you know it was a reunion for everybody that had been to a Pat class before and blah blah blah blah blah so the 50 meter target was you're a lifelong Pat guy and if you know anything about the training industry you understand that a significant portion Pat's business was repeat business so you know we could talk about a certain Submariner that I know that was on Light Fighter that I swear to God that dude paid for at least you know two bedrooms in Pat's retirement home because he went and trained every single year and as his children grew up he brought all of them out to train with Pat so he was paying every 12 months six or seven or eight class enrollment fees for all of his daughters and his wife and himself to attend the class so when you get a die-hard fan like that that is made maintaining proficiency or learning and then maintaining proficiency in the art of fighting with firearms and they lose they lose their compass where do they go? And so friends of Pat was by design supposed to be this smorgasbord of dudes that all agreed that they had learned from their interactions with Pat and were of the same right mindset about why they were training, what they were trying to get out of it, the material that they were putting out that wasn't bunk ass shit, whatever.

So the list of instructors was by design so that the friends of Pat that were going there as students now had options to shop from.

Doc Spears closed it up at the end by saying, now it's time to bring the legacy forward.

There's gotta be next year, people that never trained with Pat and, but they wanted to, and they never got a chance to, well, then they can come there and there are dudes that all did train with Pat and are still training.

And by design, uh, the legacy, just like I never trained with Cooper, but I trained with Pat.

You see what I'm saying? It's the exact same idea so that 20, 25 years from now, there's a dude that trained rifles under Fisher and Fisher trained rifles under Pat.

And so it's trickle-down TTPs and a legacy of changing how we train firearms instruction in the country.

So, yeah, the long answer to that is that's why Prince of Pat is there for the student population.

And when you take out the cliquish family reunion of Pat's circle of people that no shit loved him, you know, the other – There's 160-something people in that range.

There were people that were on that range that had never met Pat Rogers.

But until I saw Chris Sizelove at the wake, I had no idea he and Pat were so close.

And then I think we all had the discussions of, the 30 degrees of Pat, you know, so everyone who thinks that trains if you think you're not somehow related to Pat, I, I really think that you are.
