Scott HefelfingerHostEmilyGuestThe first thing that comes to mind visually is his life is worth of living clips because there's a ton of them You can find on YouTube you can find him and he you know, he it's like it's black and white, right? This was filmed in the 50s and he comes in and he's got his cape and he has I mean he's very much he's very theatrical like he's an actor and And so he comes in and he's just got like this kind of
And so I remember the first time watching him, because I read some of his stuff before I ever watched him.
Okay, so was that also the first way you encountered him was in like these YouTube clips? No.
Like, I don't remember how close exactly to my conversion, but he, I would say he was one of the earlier, I mean, he wasn't a saint at the time or not recognized as such.
So he, but he was one of the earliest kind of Catholic figures, saint-ish figures that I encountered.
I think that the first thing that I encountered was something that Brittany and I encountered together, which was Three to Get Married, which is a really wonderful book about marriage.
And so we had read a little bit of that, but we read it basically kind of as we got married and then a little bit into our first year of marriage.
