He talked about Christ in the creed, suffering, death, and resurrection, the Holy Spirit, Peter, vicar of Christ, communism in the church, purgatory, birth prevention, the four tensions of love.

Bishop Tilka takes us through different stories of him, how his evangelization and his good work and really his path to sainthood, it was far beyond what many people might know him for, which is his television series of many.

He also was on radio, but he had a television series, Life is Worth Living.

He won an Emmy.

We're talking 30 million viewers across the world were tuning in to this program.

So when he returned after his doctorate, he taught at Catholic University of America, where he taught for actually 23 years.

While there, because of his prowess in speaking and explaining the faith, he was brought to the radio, first as part of the Catholic Radio Hour, but because he became the most significant or recognizable individual on that program, he was convinced to do TV.

And so in the 1950s, when TVs were a new thing, he started a program called Life is Worth Living and was on the air for about six years.

It was a program that drew 30 million viewers a week across the country and basically a program where he explained our faith and tackled issues.
