### **Cornyn, Paxton and the accountability test for Texas Republicans** Texas Republicans are approaching Election Day with two problems: difficult races on the ballot and a widening fight inside…
Anthony HolmHost
Most recently, as we approach these elections, 31 different Republican House members have been put on a list.

And put on a list by themselves and by the Republican leadership and all the political guys helping the speaker and the leadership of the Texas House and the leadership of the Republican Party in Texas saying, holy smokes, we have 31 House Republicans who are endangered, right? Who have tough races and we need to be focused on and worried about them.

house district 14 paul dyson so here's a guy up in bryan college station and he's vulnerable to the democrat that surprises me surprised me a lot and i'm just trying to figure out if it's the wave nature of the election or if it's because of dyson's son at least in part his policies right here's a guy who who said uh who opposed donald trump And on those foreign truckers, right? We've talked about this in the past, but the data is out in the last 12 months, the Trump administration took 28,000 truck drivers off the road in America.

These guys are driving 70, 75,000 pound vehicles, which are really big messes, missiles, right? 18 wheelers.

And many of them are driving on a foreign CDL, foreign, you know, claiming that, oh, I'm an accomplished driver.

So so Texas says under the law, like, hey, if an 18 wheeler driver crashes into you.

And we want to make sure that everybody knows, like, hey, there's a problem here.

Well, I don't think any of those people should have been on the road to start with just straight up.

But our friends at Texans for Lawsuit Reform, who, you know, big donors are Republicans and big donors of Democrats, millions and millions to each in Texas over the last many decades.

We think most of us are that they're funded really by the big insurance companies.

They introduce bills and support bills to say, no, we're going to change the law.
