But we also this past week got kind of a big show in our neck of the woods that we both were at.
And it was a fucking blast.
Dude, Turnstile, Dinosaur Jr., Fiddlehead, Outdoors, Thompson's Point, Portland, Maine.
If you've never been to Thompson's Point, how would you describe it? I'm actually having a tough time describing.
How would you describe Thompson's Point, besides it being outdoors and on the peninsula?
It's wide open.
There really isn't a bad place to see the show or hear the show from, and you can kind of get up front if you want to.
You can lay back if you want to.
It's just an awesome vibe, like front to back.
Yeah, and it probably, if that place capped out, $12,000? I think it's like $8,000
or $9,000,
yeah.
So it's like a small outdoor arena gig, but it's awesome.
And this was during the height of the Nor'easter that they were hyping up, which we caught a little of it.
It wasn't bad.
Yeah,
it wasn't bad for us, no.
It was actually pretty nice.
It was nice.
Like, I think I overdressed.
I wore a poncho for, like, two fiddlehead songs and i was like uh i don't even think i need a raincoat you know but when i left there was like mist coming down sideways like i had to like clear my eyes quite a bit but amazing gig the amazing night
it got a little a little wet on our ride home but from the majority of the show it was just a little windy and you know a little bit of mist nothing crazy and the show was fucking awesome it was fiddlehead dinosaur jr and turnstile who go from playing portland main on a saturday night to the following week playing So pretty wild, pretty big gig for them to be on SNL this past weekend when this comes out.
Amazing.
