Yeah, and, and again, Borkey, we kinda go back to it, that six out of the seven goals were scored by guys that signed new deals.

And, and the first four, we weren't even sure were going to be Pittsburgh Penguins this year.

And, you know, we started this pregame show talking about Sidney Crosby, obviously what he means to this organization, about him being the captain.

Yeah, in his first shift of the game, he throws a big check on Travis Sanheim, and those two were really butting heads big time in that playoff series last year.

And then he's not done with, uh, Sanheim, and within five more seconds he's really dropping the boom on Konecny, another guy that, that can easily get under your skin.

Penguins don't have a big, booming guy to really, uh, you know, rattle cages, but when they play team toughness like that, and it's led by their now 39-year-old captain, that's highly motivating.

Not something that's maybe spoken about, but it's, it's kind of internal motivation for the whole group to say, "Wow, look at Sid go.

I want to, I wanna do some of that too." And, uh, to get the first goal by Robertson, again, Sid and Letang figuring in on that one after Sid got up from that big hit.

The, I thought the special teams, again, were really good last year for the Penguins.

And, and to know that everybody kinda had a part of this win, from Sid all the way down to the guys on the fourth line, this is what really makes calling games so much fun last year.
