New York completed a three-game sweep to move within three games of Tampa Bay atop the American League East Division and four and a half games ahead of Boston for the first AL wildcard spot.

And finally, the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Chicago White Sox two-nothing to complete a three-game series sweep of their own.

The Sabres had 24 sellouts of their f- 41 home games in the regular season, including 18 consecutive s- sellouts in the final 18 games of the regular season, which was the longest sellout streak for the franchise since 2011 to '12.

The s- preseason will begin for the Sabres on September 21st at the Pittsburgh Penguins, and continue the next night at home, hosting the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Sabres open the regular season October 1st at Columbus, then host the Chicago Blackhawks in their home opener on October 3rd at KeyBank Center.

Training camp for the Sabres is going- gets going September 17th with on-ice activities following the follow- the, uh, starting the following day.

They won five Cups in that timeframe, and then at the tail end of your career, you ran into the Penguins, who were just Lemieux and Jagr and y- all those just superstars on that team.

'Cause you played with two Stanley Cup contenders.

You know, the Bruins were great back then, and the LA Kings were back then.

He was a fourth-round pick.

I never understood why it didn't work out for him in Toronto, because it felt like he scored enough that he should stay in the lineup, but I guess there are enough warts in his game that he never...
