A lot of cases were sort of around the late 70s and early 80s, because you mentioned, again, 1980.

And Bury St Edmunds is obviously Suffolk, and it's not that far away from Rendlesham.

which isn't a million miles from where I am, again in 1980, which involved some of your colleagues from Blackburn Police Station.

And two of the officers that were on duty that night did actually make some sketches of what they saw.

And they were sort of like cigar-shaped craft with lights going all around them and flashing and so on.

So, I mean, have you noticed any sort of time periods change Are there quite a lot of other cases around the late 70s, early 80s, or are there time periods that you tend to get a lot of reports from and then it goes quiet for a few years, or have you not noticed a pattern?

I haven't noticed a pattern as such, and that's probably on the basis that I don't have every you know, police sighting that officers have ever seen, because I guess my voice and my appeal hasn't reached everybody yet.

But unless I know for a fact I've got them all, it's very hard to then pinpoint a pattern.

So what I wanted to do is you mentioned Rendlesham and you mentioned, you know, Blackburn and these sightings.

And although very famous and very intriguing, what I wanted to do was get new fresh sightings craig that had never been spoken about before i didn't want to rehash the old stuff it wanted to be everything brand spanking new um and just push this into the public arena and it's just my way and the officer's way of saying you know this isn't being seen by you know um not just just the public it's been seen by by police officers you know as well swords servants of the crown you know, guardians of law and order, good, credible witnesses.

And that's the whole purpose of doing the book and continuing, mate, to try and push forward and get more witnesses.

And, of course, your colleagues' training is such that, you know, you're very – by the very nature of the job, you're very – fastidious when it comes to evidence and evidence gathering.

They do seem to have a heightened sense of, you know, the five senses that can almost... see something that's going to go wrong before it goes wrong sort of thing.

Certainly, you know, and it's funny that, you know, police officers do make good witnesses by virtue of the training for this.
