It starts with long guns and, and barrel size and, and bump stocks and, and magazines, and next thing you know, it'll be, uh, the, the guns themselves, and then you'll only be allowed to have a shotgun, then you'll only be allowed to have a pistol, then you'll only be allowed to have a slingshot.

And then you'll have knives, and then it'll be like, uh, the streets of London where everybody's out there sword fighting like they're the fucking Pirates of the Caribbean on Downing Street, you know? It's, it's-- This is the direction it's going, and of course, the Department of Injustice is behind it.

So, they didn't just go after payday lenders, and they didn't just go after gun shops.

They went after everybody, okay? I'm gonna read off a list of the industries that they targeted, and you're gonna go, "Oh my God, I didn't know anything about this." Ammo sales, to be expected.

No one cares.

There was a vigil last night outside Downing Street.

I'm not even kidding.

A vigil.

The extent to which terrorism has entrenched many of the worst and the desire to protect ourselves against terrorism has entrenched many of the worst features of our society.

Remember, before the terrorism of the IRA, you walked up Downing Street.

Our prime ministers traveled openly, just walked around.

It was regarded as being a bit extreme, but when Edward VIII was king, he's regularly photographed walking around with one equerry and somebody holding an umbrella over

In other words, what terrorism has done is enormously increase the separation between the rulers and ruled.

You look at Downing Street now, the policeman, that great hedge.

When's the next general election? You know, honestly, I don't know.

I'll tell you what, I don't think that the public are battering down Andy Burnham's door in Downing Street saying, let's have a general election.

We've got to get through the first budget.

I understand, you know, I understand exactly what's going on, but I want to find out why all of a sudden has that happened.

mean I think the public are starting to see him you said they don't know him very well but he spent the summer actually getting out and about going to regions meeting as many people possibly did a good interview with you that I saw over the summer as part of that as well I think there needs to be a process by which he he sets out his stall sets out his agenda he's he's ruled out an early election because one of the things he said on the steps of Downing Street is we need to kind of have a period of some stability in our politics So, look, I don't think an election is happening anytime soon, but I do think that, you know, when it comes, I think he's going to be in a good position to win it.

I mean, first of all, John Swinney was absolutely right to write to the prime minister.

But, you know, I think that the Labour Party knew that he misspoke in the House of Commons, because when I tuned in to the tea time evening news.

The BBC Westminster reporter was basically saying Downing Street have made it clear this afternoon there has been no change in policy.

So just a couple of hours after the Prime Minister misspoke, Number 10 were shooting down the misspeaking, although John Swinney did a really good job of making the point and embarrassing the Prime Minister in the process.
