Barnes & Noble

You get a book deal, someone gets a book deal, and it's $20,000 advance for a book, which that I think kind of implies that they're hoping to sell 20,000 copies of that book or 10,000 copies of that book possibly.

How many- They're gonna do all of their publishing stuff to make sure it's distributed to bookstores, to the Barnes & Nobles, to the indie books, to the Amazon, all that stuff.

When you're doing a school visit, let's say 100 kids buy the book, like I'm just trying to figure out at the end of the day, does that, does that really move the needle? I think a, 100 kids with your book is amazing, but like do you need to do 50 school vits- visits in a year? Is it sufficient to do 10? Like what, you know, what, what, what are your thoughts on that?

It's a good question, and I think it's probably the same question every company asks the time they do... w- when they do any marketing or any publicity, right? You're paying for an ad.

That's the only way it's going to move.

There's no way in the world a donor is going to walk into Barnes & Noble and say, hey, there's a book about controlling donors.

I want to read that.

That's not going to happen.

And this would have been around like mid to late 70s that I was doing all this, all this.

When I learned I went to Barnes and Noble and they had two books by Charles Gorin and one was like this half an inch thick and one was three inches thick.

So I chose the half inch deck, which it turned out was from the 50s and was like four card majors.

And just it was like travesty that they had this book on the shelf.

platforms, or not platforms, but anywhere you like to buy books.

Barnes & Noble, all the places.
