This week we discuss: 00:00 Sharks Talk 20:52 Brady Tkatchuk's return to Ottawa 21:51 Connor Hellebuyck trade 29:22 Dylan Larkin tantrum 38:14 Devin Cooley's philosophy 50:32 Carly…
yeah they finally got a regulation win like who who would have thought at the beginning of the season that that would be our biggest problem i mean one of them but to me it felt like this is getting borderline embarrassing It's giving me a new anxiety that once we have the lead or we're looking good, can we even get this win in regulation? But they finally got it against the Ottawa Senators coming off of their win from the Florida Panthers, which was the welcome home party, quote unquote, for Brady Kachuk, which I think we're going to talk a little bit about.
But I felt like they were coming in with this energy of, if you don't already know, there was drama that happened last season.
So I kind of was feeling like, oh man, how will the Sharks compete against this adrenaline rush that the Ottawa Senators have? But they figured it out.
They finally got the win.
and then then we had another fun experience against the vancouver canucks just a couple of days ago which if we had lost that game i would have no words right now because they are at the bottom of the league they have really nothing going for them they're they're already They know that their future is a rebuild.
So if we're struggling to beat the worst team in the league, I would have no words coming onto this pod, but we made it happen.
We made it happen in a couple of minutes where we scored all of our goals.
But the first two periods was the boys just could not keep the puck on their sticks.
They could not sustain play.
It just looked like they were so off.
Like you knew the talent was out there, yet they were so off.
And I was just...
I've been coming into the season, even keeled.
And this game was just throwing me off a cliff of just like, what is even happening? And then Philip B says debut his, his parents flew from Sweden to see it.
Like, and this is what we're going to show this kids, like, look at all your hard work and money and your, and your kids debut.
And it's, and everything.
And this is what we're gonna showcase to these poor Swedish parents.
I know.
Make that long trip for what? Well, so it seems like the last couple of games they've been really struggling to get anything going up until those couple of minutes where they scored all of their goals.
And I was curious if you have been online seeing any of the discourse around the line changes and people, how they're feeling about Warsaw right now.
You mean the same stuff that we
saw last season? Anytime Orso took Will and Mac off the line together?
Yes, but I feel like it's been getting worse this season.
Oh,
I haven't been online long enough to see the the dynamic shift in that.
