My grandmother, Sarah Katzenalambog, my father's mother, was also a very sharp lady, brilliant, and what she did was she would buy off passports from Polish people because they couldn't check on the Polish passports because most of the cities were bombed by the Germans.

So my grandmother went into an orphanage, and she bribed the people in the orphanage, and she took out three more Jewish children.

And that's how we were, a family of six children.

And when we arrived in Cleveland at that time, 1953, there were many Jewish families that lived already in America.

And they heard a new immigrant family arrived.
