Starting Bitcoin Indonesia And Teaching My First Bitcoin - Dimas Surya - #614

If you are not in Prague, have not been in Prague, didn't make it for whatever reason, it's a damn shame.

This is being released during that conference.

We'll see you next year.

Make sure you get a ticket.

It's always a great, great opportunity to meet people.

And this is what Dimas is here to talk about.

No, he wasn't in Prague because he is running the Bitcoin Indonesia project over on his home island.

and he's doing great work and it's all in conjunction with my first bitcoin so if you're not familiar with my first bitcoin i'm going to be doing interviews with nodes around the country that are using the my first bitcoin ethos and their content to help educate the educators that can then go and deliver this curriculum into a wider setting whether that is a school setting primary secondary or even university this is happening all over the world right now as we speak you can go back and listen to my episode I've done with James Dewar where he went into a secondary school here in the UK and taught a whole semester and dozens of students about bitcoin and now the teachers there are going to pick up on that and run that again next year as an after-school club so get on to this if this is something that you're interested in because we've got nodes all around the world i'll be chatting to uh to someone africa i'll be chatting to one in argentina and if you're running one and you want to come on and share your story please let me know and the my first bitcoin team were in prague and they ran an unconference the day before the main event in prague so get over to myfirstbitcoin.org if this conversation gives you hope or inspires you in some way this is what the whole project is all about so thank you everybody for tuning in and thank you to those that are participating in some way with helping spread bitcoin education further around the world at a grassroots level that is what is so
