Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy strongly condemned Russia in a social media post, saying they had demonstratively burned a train locomotive.

Authorities in Indonesia say contact has been lost with a ferry carrying about 240 people in the Java Sea.

They say one person is dead and 140 are unaccounted for.

Yeah, it's a very timely question, actually, because we did our first team building in Indonesia last month.

And there we actually discussed, okay, where do we see the company going? And I was always thinking, okay, from our next round, if we raise that money, we will go to the US because it's the biggest market and we really need to have food on the ground there.

But then I Made me realize, okay, if you raise that much amount of money, if you want to make it in the US, you really need to go big.

So to think West Africa, Ecuador in Latin America, Brazil, Peru.

Those would be the largest producers as well as Indonesia.

And essentially, all these regions are unfortunately impacted by El Niño.

And the typical weather El Niño brings is, you know, it tends to complement those cyclical conditions when El Niño is strongest at the end of the year.

So

interesting that we have all three latches producing rich and affected.

Certainly the correlation to dry weather in Indonesia is very strong.

And the correlation between El Niño and wet weather in Ecuador is also very strong.

So we could produce it, but it was so damn prohibitively expensive.

That when push came to shove, the auto industry and everybody else that consumes a lot of this stuff for their components went to Indonesia, Chinese-owned mills.

I mean, just sort of a hellhole of pollution, but it doesn't matter.

It's cheap.

Of course, the Japanese were trying to control the Pacific, right? We now know that the Japanese didn't necessarily want to invade Australia.

What they were looking to do was to weaken American military bases throughout the Pacific so they can control the Pacific.

It just so happens that Darwin was very, very strategic as far as being able to reach into what we now call Indonesia and Papua New Guinea and sort of some of those islands around.

Mm.

Like I was in the middle of the actual situation where you could be triggered about the fact that you need a store of value and money outside of the centrally controlled money system in your country that is clearly making your life worse, right? And even then people didn't see it.

And I've had several people like from Suriname, Indonesia, whatever, share that I saw that completely wrong, what you just said.

I also thought that, right? But they said like, no, it's one, because they are also too busy just surviving.

Like we have a very luxurious life that we even have the time to contemplate the what is money question, right? And other people are surviving day by day on two, three dollars or whatever.

Mm, and do we know anything about, uh, Damien John Shaw himself?

Um, we suspect he was in Bali for some time.

We do know the lease, uh, for this bungalow was due to expire in a number of years.

And, yeah, there's a lot of speculation as to what's gone on, but police and the Premier himself just want to emphasise that this is under investigation and the circumstances leading up to this are still unclear.

And do we know anything about Damien John Shaw himself? According to Indonesian police, he was a permanent Australian resident.

We suspect he was in Bali for some time.
