S2E30 Biggest Questions for Seahawks Entering Season

We are going to lead with the defending Super Bowl champions, Seattle Seahawks, because we are now through the preseason.

All of these phony.

Don't count games are behind us.

A 9-9 tie to the Chiefs is how we leave off.

But a lot of good signs in that game.

Jalen Milrow looks like a different quarterback.

Yeah, put a little bit better.

The offensive...

I can't say offensive woes because we really haven't seen the offense per se, which I'm glad because Lord knows after last week in Tennessee, we didn't need any more injuries.

So where are they at? Where are we at? It's the great sleight of hand that NFL coaches play for the preseason and not showing anything, not showing too much.

and not wanting to get guys hurt.

I think Mike McDonald did Yeoman's work on getting that done really last year, if you look back at it, and then certainly this year again.

But there are a couple concerns.

I think a couple things were laid to rest.

Concerned about injuries.

Is Abe Lucas going to be ready to go? Obviously, we're all concerned about the kicking game with Jason Myers.

I know you'll get into that, but that's my thing.

And then also on defense, question marks in that secondary.

Who's going to be there? When are they going to be there? How long is it going to take them to get there?

Yeah, absolutely.

I wrote down some of my biggest question marks as we head into the season, and number one is in that secondary.

Who's going to be that third cornerback for the Seahawks? You sort of thought that them bringing in Trayvon Diggs, wanting to take a risk with Terry and Arnold and all the PR pushback that that was inevitably going to have, you sort of thought that, and Dante brought this up a lot, is that is sort of alarming and sort of gives you an insight into how the Seahawks feel about their options at that third cornerback spot Nehemiah Pritchett makes the roster Julian Neal makes the roster as well your third rounder you thought that he would but he's dealt with a quad injury didn't play in a single preseason game Noah Igbenogany you thought was going to factor in there he ends up getting cut he signed somewhere on someone Cincinnati maybe I think so yeah he's on a 53 man

yeah he wasn't going to make the practice squad with Seattle so he was going to pick

And then John Schneider goes and trades a sixth rounder for Avery Smith, cornerback out from the Rams.
