And it's something where seeing DeMond Williams not take any sacks against Washington State was certainly a good sign, but that doesn't mean that there were a whole bunch of clean pockets and there wasn't pressure time and time again that he had to do some maneuvering out of.

But I think Cougar fans are really impressed with the defense.

That is a very difficult, that is a very different conversation than Howard.

And when you look at Indiana's defense right now, the secondary is still the area with the biggest questions because you lost D'Angelo Pons, your two starting corners were out last game.

They do not.

They're going to beat Howard regardless.

The question is whether Indiana will still have them when Julian Sane, Jada Maiava, DeMond Williams Jr., Drake Lindsey, maybe Bryce Underwood if he doesn't lose his job against Oklahoma, if they are there standing on the sideline ready to go in when they face those quarterbacks.

Because that is when the news goes from nice, good stuff to potentially seasoned quarterbacks.
